The Account Director is the primary contact and ultimate point of accountability with our clients. The job includes profit/loss responsibility. The Account Director manages a cross functional team on a daily basis which may include account managers, media buyers, creative teams, and other department liaisons. This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated person who desires to step out of the traditional agency account environment and explore something a little different. You will be joining a challenging but fun environment with extremely high expectations regarding level of execution. For this is an interactive agency like no other around.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day account operations and relationship management on assigned accounts
  • Manage/mentor other Account Service colleagues
  • Demonstrate excellent team management skills and operational/business management capabilities
  • Lead client engagements, from small, innovative projects to larger integrated end-to-end solutions.
  • Build and maintain business relationships at all the necessary levels in the client's organization
  • Protect and build our business.
  • Think quickly under pressure, as well as motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results.
The engagement should be built to:
  • Build client's potential and desire for transformation
  • Develop potential for new platform/defining work
  • Increase account size in revenue potential
  • Ensure long-term relationship
  • Create learning and satisfaction potential for our teams
  • Clearly educate the client about our framework
  • Meet the project criteria laid down in the account plan
  • Generate invoices on schedule and collect monies using guidelines set by our finance department
  • Put all documentation in place within one week of starting each phase
 
 Requirements:
  • 10 years agency and account management experience; 2-3 years at the account director level
  • 5+ years' digital account management experience; digital/interactive agency experience preferred
  • 3-5+ years consumer account management a must
  • 5+ year program management or operational management
  • Industry experience with digital transformation solutions
  • Demonstrated success in building/growing client relationships
