Associate Creative Director Team: Art Director and Copywriter - pharma and consumer goods; NYC, NY





This flourishing 500-person agency is growing by leaps & bounds. Yet, the culture is friendly and team oriented, where everyone at all levels is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done!

We need to add a highly conceptual Digital ACD Team (Digital Art Director & Digital Copywriter) to our 75 person creative team. The Associate Creative Directors are accountable for the overall quality of the concept and are responsible for assisting the Creative Director in leading the creative team to consistently deliver a compelling customer experience.

This team will set a strong conceptual and strategic direction for the project team based on the business need of our financial services client. We're looking for a dynamic duo with proven ability to present and sell great conceptual ideas to the clients. 

You'll be managing several direct reports on a major pharmaceutical account and some consumer goods accounts. The work is primarily digital, but there will be some cross-channel and new biz creative opportunities. The ideal team will have proven expertise in the digital space, but that also have an integrated approach to their creative thinking. We do a lot of social media & want a team that knows how to build a conversation between active consumers and the brand.
Day to Days:


  • Lead a team of art directors and designers from concept to project delivery
  • Host creative brainstorming sessions and create supporting presentation materials for new business pitches
  • Lead a cross-disciplinary team to help define and execute concept direction to meet the clients’ business needs/challenges
Must haves:

  • 2 -3+ years experience managing a design team at the ACD level
  • 7-10 years' of digital design experience
  • 3-5 years experience in an agency environment
  • 2-3 years' experience in pharma advertising
  • Experience in web, mobile, social and emerging platforms
  • Experience in traditional advertising - print, direct, collateral, tv, radio, outdoor, etc.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop skills in junior designers
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with project teams and clients
  • Strong leadership and people management skills 
  • Phenomenal, need I say "award winning" portfolio
