Copywriter - integrated/mid level; Boston, MA

Integrated Copywriter - mid level
Boston, MA

This is a small boutique shop in Boston with a very diverse client list that includes  local, national and global; B2B and B2C companies. Their client list is as impressive as their long-term relationships --- many of their clients have been with the firm for 5-20 years. They are a rarity in the agency world in that their people get to touch on so many opportunities in the marketing realm and they are very supportive of creativity. They function with the sophistication of a large shop; but have the hands-on atmosphere of a small one. They also partner with a number of national and international  agencies on projects. While a great portion of the work is digital, they also traditional, including broadcast, print, direct marketing, etc. The company is privately owned, profitable and stable - they've only had one layoff in the past 10 years, and it was not recent.

Best candidates:with 3-5 years' experience working on advertising campaigns, you've been able to put together a solid portfolio that shows your understanding across industries and in B2B and B2C. You know your job is to write in different voices and your work reflects that. You're smart, not just clever; can work independently and in a group; have worked in all mediums, and can handle the interviewing and information mining that goes with creating videos; are comfortable in a small-agency environment and welcome being the main writer; know that with all this, you still have more to learn and want a place that will encourage you as you do that.
