We are adding a Marketing Specialist to our growing team. This person will act as a liaison with senior leadership to identify innovative online and offline ways to promote the agency, its innovative work and its fantastic culture.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage annual agency integrated marketing and PR strategies/plans and related budgets
Work with industry media contacts to generate coverage or secure contributed articles in related trade and business publications
Manage agency social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Identify and manage a calendar of upcoming opportunities for leadership to speak at industry events
Identify and manage a calendar of opportunities to submit agency work for relevant award shows/competitions
Identify opportunities to host/sponsor events or attend networking events to build local community connection and increase brand awareness
Manage, promote and report on newsletter metrics
Manage ongoing content updates to the our website and report on metrics
Assist with relaunching the agency blog and contribute to, curate employee content, and manage promotion of content
Manage the creation of Press Releases for announcement-worthy agency news
Communicate progress against annual plan at 6 month and end of year points with an agency marketing report
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience working in the marketing or public relations field
2+ years of agency experience
Portfolio or writing samples (to be reviewed during interviews) showcasing your ability to write press releases, newsletter copy, blogs
Demonstrated ability to promote clients via social media
Self motivated and capable of working independently
