Our client is a 20+ year old company that develops and operates several high-end, award-winning, luxurious 5-star boutique hotels, resorts and residences in the Caribbean. Over the next few years, they will expand this property collection considerably and are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will play an integral role the continued success of meeting our clients’ expectations as well as the continued growth of the company.

Their extensive community programs focus on improving the lives and futures of local children via working with area schools to provide school materials, building repairs, scholarship programs, job training and free meals. This program has been so successful, many of our guests participate a la “volun-tourism”.
The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) plays a hands-on role here to help build and manage our online presence and brand story through digital marketing and social media.  This person will coordinate and executing all corporate website initiatives and online projects with the goal of increasing website traffic and improving web conversion.  The DMM will be an integral part of digital strategy sessions and will facilitate projects with our online agency and manage timelines, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are achieved.

Day to Days:
  • Participate in the organization-wide planning, development and execution of all digital marketing programs and campaigns be it online brand awareness advertising, promotional campaigns 
  • Leverage all digital outlets to optimize digital campaigns - including email, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, web, tablet and/or mobile experiences
  • Works with leadership team to define and develop action plans to increase direct business mix; manage strategic plans for digital marketing and the implementation of digital assets (Web, GDS, Mobile, Tablet etc.) with a keen focus on B2C and an overview to B2B applications to ensure brand, digital and user consistency and excellence
  • Works with sales teams on consumer marketing initiatives and product launches to ensure cross platform alignment
  • Provide input/insights based on historical information, current trends and experiences to help evolve company's digital footprint and make informed decisions based on data trends that drive digital efforts
  • Participates in the full launch process of digital projects/campaigns including strategic planning, experience design, development and testing. Maintains and updates several property websites; tracks performance monthly and generate detail reporting for management reviews
    • Maintain and control the master content calendar for all online initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met 
    • Coordinates direct to consumer digital marketing tactics including but not limited to email, paid search, SEO and online advertising to support seasonal campaigns
    • Ensure continued site refreshes including homepage, email, content and copy updates.
    • Ensure all content, copy, policies, product within partner extranet sites is current and accurate
    • Connects analytics insights to real-time quick fixes and solutions to on-going campaigns and initiatives 
    • Conduct daily/weekly website quality control checks; coordinate solutions within team. 
  • Collaborate with PR agency on related digital PR plan and integration 
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies via continued education, training and research; and update/advise colleagues on these opportunities
Must have's: 
  • 5-7 years of experience in online marketing of 4- or 5-star hotels or resorts; 2+ years experience at Manager level
  • 3+ years hands-on experience developing, managing and executing multi-faceted social media programs - including email, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, web, tablet and/or mobile experiences
  • 3+ years' experience developing strategic online marketing plans 
  • 3+ years luxury branding experience
  • B2B and B2C marketing experience
  • Innovative and imaginative mindset
  • Passionate for travel and social media
  • Bachelor’s Degree
