Director of Customer Success

The Director of Customer Success will be responsible for the strategic direction and supervision of Account Management activities while ensuring that business objectives are achieved. This person will manage the client relationship, partner with senior leadership on defining and executing high-level client strategy, oversee day-to-day of account management, and lead and participate in client meetings. You will ensure the success of current running business, delivering world class customer support in order to exceed client and business expectations. You serve as the face to both external clients and internal teams throughout the organization, and are responsible for both retaining and growing premier clients.

Just to be super clear, we are looking for a “closer” someone who can go to clients and smooth over any issues, etc. This person must be charismatic on the phone and in person, as well as, having impeccable customer service and presentation skills. They should be sharp, professional, and articulate.

About you:

  • 8+ years as an Director of Customer Success (or similar) at a digital agency or Ad Tech company
  • 4+ years management experience
  • Exemplary experience developing and upselling accounts
  • Self-starter with superior skills managing Fortune 500 brands or agencies
  • Google AdWords and Facebook Power Editor experience a HUGE plus
  • Media planning and market strategy experience on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required; particularly influencing and listening skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Manage a growing national team of 5-10 Account Managers and Senior Account Managers
